It is essential to select the right herbicide to use in each specific amenity weed control situation. Any technical advice regarding pesticides and vegetation management should be provided by a British Agrochemical Standards Inspection Scheme (BASIS) qualified advisor, if you are not BASIS qualified yourself. BASIS is the nationally recognised certificate of competence for selling and advising on pesticide use.

 

Your BASIS qualified Nomix Enviro advisor can provide you with technical advice and support, including:  
  • Selecting an approved product, suitable for the intended use and situation
  • How to prepare and apply the product
  • LERAPs
  • Minimising any risk to operators, bystanders and the environment, including avoiding water pollution
  • Storage requirements
