4. first aid measures

Inhalation

Move the exposed person to fresh air. Keep warm and at rest. Get prompt medical attention.


Ingestion

If accidentally swallowed obtain medical attention. Keep at rest. DO NOT induce vomiting.
Never make an unconscious person vomit or drink fluids.

Skin Contact

Remove affected person from source of contamination. Get medical attention if any discomfort continues.

Eye Contact

Remove victim from source of exposure. Contact lenses should be removed. Irrigate eye copiously with clean, fresh water for at least 10 minutes holding the eyelid apart. Seek medical advice.

Extinguishing Media

This material is flammable. Use extinguishing media appropriate for surrounding fire.

Recommended

Carbon dioxide, dry powder, foam, sand, dolomite, water spray, fog or mist.

Unusual hazards

May develop highly toxic or corrosive fumes if heated.
Vapours are heavier than air and may spread near ground to sources of ignition.

Spill Clean Up Methods

Clean up personnel should use respiratory and/or liquid contact protection.
Extinguish all ignition sources. Avoid sparks, flames, heat and smoking. Ventilate.

Usage Precautions

Keep away from sparks and open flames. Avoid spilling, skin and eye contact. The accumulation of contaminated rags and of dry over-spray, particularly in spray booth filters, may result in spontaneous combustion. Ensure good housekeeping standards, regular safe removal of waste materials and regular maintenance of spray. Booths filters will minimise the risks of spontaneous combustion and other fire hazards.

Storage Precautions

Keep in cool dry ventilated storage and closed containers. Keep containers tightly closed.
