General |

Inhalation |
Remove from exposure keeping warm and at rest. Seek medical attention if irritation persists. |
Ingestion |
Do not induce vomiting except in the presence of or on the orders of a doctor. Rinse mouth with water and drink plenty of water. Seek medical attention. |
Skin Contact |
Remove any contaminated clothing. Wash the affected area immediately with soap and water. Seek medical attention if irritation persists. |
Eye Contact |
Irrigate the eye thoroughly with clean water for at least 10 minutes holding the eyelids apart if necessary. Seek medical attention. |

EXTINGUISHING MEDIA
RECOMMENDED:
Alcohol resistant foam, CO2, powder, water spray.
NOT TO BE USED:
Water Jet.
SPECIAL INSTRUCTIONS FOR FIRE FIGHTING PERSONNEL:
Fire will produce dense black smoke containing hazardous of combustion (see section 10).
Decomposition products may be a hazard to health.
Appropriate self contained breathing apparatus may be required.
Cool closed containers exposed to fire with a water spray.
Do not allow run off from the fire fighting to enter drains or water courses.

Absorb in vermiculite, dry sand or earth and place into containers.

Handling |
Prevent air-borne concentrations higher than the occupational exposure limits.
Observe label instructions.
Keep the container tightly closed.
Exclude any sources of heat, sparks and open flames.
Avoid inhalation of vapour. Smoking, eating and drinking should be prohibited in areas of storage and use. For personal protection see section 8.

Storage |
Observe label instructions. Store between 5 & 25°C in a well ventilated, dry place, away from sources of heat, ignition and direct sunlight. Protect from frost. Prevent unauthorised opening, containers should be properly resealed and kept upright. Store separately from oxidising agents and any strong alkaline or acidic materials. |

PERSONAL PROTECTION
General Protection
All personal protective equipment, including respiratory protection equipment, used to control exposure to hazardous substances must be selected to meet the requirements of the COSHH regulations.
Hand protection
Where skin exposure may occur advice from glove suppliers should be sought, on the appropriate type to use.
Whilst barrier cream may help to protect the skin it is not a substitute physical protection. It should NOT be used after exposure has occurred.
Eye Protection
Eye protection designed to protect against liquid splashes should be worn.
Skin Protection
Cotton or cotton/synthetic overalls or coveralls are normally suitable. Grossly contaminated clothing should be removed and the skin washed with soap and water.
